Introduction to Decisions

This section provides you with the Tribunal’s Decisions, Rulings and/or Orders for the current fiscal year (April 1st to March 31st), as well as for the two previous fiscal years. The decisions are grouped by statute and type of appeal, and are downloadable in pdf format.

The Tribunal’s decisions must be made and must be seen to be made independently and impartially.

The decisions of the former Commercial Registration Appeal Tribunal (CRAT) and the former Licence Suspension Appeal Aboard (LSAB) are available on Quicklaw.

The Tribunal posts its Decisions, Rulings and/or Orders on this website within three weeks after the release of the decision to the parties. They are made available on Quicklaw later on.

If you need a particular LAT Decision that was released in previous fiscal years and do not have access to Quicklaw, please contact the Tribunal at (416) 314-4260 or 1 800 255-2214.

For certain types of appeals, the names of Applicants and the names of the witnesses or other persons do not appear in the LAT Decisions, unless such the witnesses or other parties are referred to in their professional capacity or as a regulator.
